Arts in Motion, was started in 1995 as a community based, all-volunteer, 501 (c) (3), not-for-profit youth theatre and arts education organization.  It has remained active for 17 years.
“The driving force behind our organization is the fact that art programs in public schools have been largely eliminated from curriculums,” said AIM president Patti Corjay. “Arts in Motion is recognized throughout our community as helping to fill this void.  Our mission is to provide a means for students in grades K-12 to participate in the visual and performing arts in ways that are educational, entertaining and affordable”.

Members of AIM are dedicated to the students and the community and believe that helping students improve their literacy, self-esteem, discipline and confidence through theatre & art education will benefit them and everyone around them. By stimulating creative thinking, students experience choices, negotiations, and opportunities that provide them life-long benefits and teach them to be independent and successful members of society.

Arts in Motion produces 2-3 full productions per year, summer camps, a year-round traveling performance troupe and varied theatre/art education workshops.  Arts In Motion is based in Dade City with no permanent building or offices. We rent facilities for rehearsals, workshops and performances.  Our mailing address is P.O. Box 762, Dade City, FL 33526.  We extend our services to any student in grades K-12 who is interested in participating.

Information about this organization, it’s past productions and upcoming events can be found at www.ArtsInMotionPasco.com .  For more information, please contact President, Patti Corjay at 813-838-1975 or [email protected].
